Regional GLU Alumni Workshop

The Latin American GLU Alumni Workshops took place from 1-4 December 2022, at the Center for Training and Recreation (CFL - Centro de Formação e Lazer) in Recife, Brazil.

Topics discussed included the impact of Covid 19 in the world of work, trade unions' policy responses, organising strategies in the informal economy, digital economy, US vs. China rivalry, global supply chains and tools for decent work, just transition, etc.

The sessions also involved presentations of the GLU Online Academy, its online courses, its model of education, the Regional Team of Trainers in LA (RTT-LA), local partnerships, as well as the broader GLU network

The event was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and organised and implemented in collaboration between Unicamp, CUT and the University of Kassel.
