Governing Bodies
GLU governing bodies are responsible for establishing the strategic positioning, main goals and direction of the organization.
People form the backbone of the Global Labour University as an organisation and with their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm, they continue to forward its mission. Without them, we could not hope to strengthen global labour networks through one-world learning, study, and research environment that promotes multicultural and multiregional understanding and cooperation.
They mostly come from the trade union and activism ecosystems and have varying cultural backgrounds. Below you can discover who they are and in case you have any questions and ideas for collaboration, feel free to get in touch with them.
The Online Academy developed a global team of 47 online tutors and local trainers (GTTT) from 20 countries across the globe. Since April 2021, as part of the “Just and Green: Labour´s Ecological Question”, the trainers have organised over 50 localised workshops and events, reaching nearly 1,000 participants.
